You can request permanent deletion of your Swift Hire account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what we retain, and how to submit your request.
How to request deletion
Send a deletion request using the form below, or email privacy@swifthireapp.com directly from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your full name, the email address on your account, and whether you registered as an employer or a worker.
What happens next
- We verify the request against your registered account details.
- Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out of all devices.
- Your personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days of a verified request.
- You'll receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your profile information — name, email, phone number, bio, and preferences
- Uploaded compliance and verification documents (government ID, certifications, business documents)
- Saved payment methods and payout bank details on file
- Device tokens, session data, and login credentials
What we retain, and why
Some information cannot be deleted immediately because we are legally required to keep it, or because deleting it would compromise records shared with other users:
- Financial and transaction records (bookings, payments, payouts, platform fees) are retained for the period required under Canadian and U.S. tax and financial record-keeping law, even after your account is deleted.
- Booking history involving other usersmay be retained in anonymized or aggregated form so the other party's records remain accurate.
- Records related to an open dispute, investigation, or legal claim are retained until that matter is resolved.
